The HARVEY TOOL 50108-C8 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in aluminum alloys, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and composite materials. It features a 1/8 inch mill diameter, a 0.005 inch corner radius, and three flutes with a variable helix geometry that reduces chatter and improves surface finish during both roughing and finishing passes. The TiB2 (titanium diboride) PVD coating is optimized for non-ferrous metals, particularly aluminum, reducing built-up edge and extending tool life. Overall length is 1.5 inches with a 3/8 inch length of cut. This tool is a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration intended for use in high-precision toolholders on CNC machining centers.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Seat the shank fully in the toolholder and torque the set screw or collet nut per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before first cut, as this tool is designed for high-precision toolholders where runout directly affects surface finish and tool life. Do not exceed the manufacturer-recommended cutting parameters for the workpiece material.
