The HARVEY TOOL 50093-C8 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of materials including aluminum alloys, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and composites. The tool measures 0.093 inches in diameter with a 0.005 inch corner radius and a 0.279 inch length of cut, ground to tight tolerances for consistent performance in finishing and roughing operations. A TiB2 (titanium diboride) PVD coating reduces built-up edge and extends tool life in non-ferrous and ferrous applications. With a variable helix geometry and three flutes, this end mill is engineered to reduce chatter and improve chip evacuation at higher feed rates.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers running aluminum alloys, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, wood, and composite materials. The single-end, straight-cylindrical shank with a 0.125 inch shank diameter is compatible with high-precision toolholders. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it a standard fit for conventional vertical and horizontal milling setups. It is part of the Harvey Tool Variable Helix End Mills for Aluminum Alloys series, intended for machinists and tool and die shops requiring tight-tolerance corner radius geometry.
Designed for use with high-precision toolholders. Suitable for milling aluminum, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, wood, and composite workpiece materials. Compatible with ISO material codes P, M, K, N, and O.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully powered down and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Seat the straight-cylindrical shank fully into a high-precision collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chips or wear before each use. Improper runout or an unsupported shank extension can accelerate tool wear and affect surface finish.
