The HARVEY TOOL 45362 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on workpiece edges in precision machining applications. Built from solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for high-speed milling on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool features a 1/16 inch corner radius, a 1/4 inch mill diameter, and a 2-inch overall length, making it well-suited for small-radius edge-breaking and contouring work. The bright, uncoated finish keeps the cutting geometry visible and allows direct inspection of edge condition. This tool is typically installed and run by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production environments.
The 45362 is suited for edge rounding, corner profiling, and radius blending operations on machined components. With a 1/8 inch tip diameter and a 1/4 inch shank, it fits standard ER or straight-bore tool holders used on CNC mills and manual knee mills. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending tool life between replacements. It belongs to the Corner Rounding End Mills 2 and 4 Flute Flared series, targeting applications where a controlled, repeatable radius is required on part edges to reduce stress risers or meet drawing callouts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement within the Harvey Tool Corner Rounding End Mills 2 and 4 Flute Flared series. Fits standard 1/4 inch straight-bore or ER collet tool holders on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Secure the 1/4 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder to the holder manufacturer's specified clamping torque range. Inspect cutting edges before each use. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for solid carbide end mills at this diameter.
