The HARVEY TOOL 45325-C3 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed for precision edge-breaking and radius profiling in machined components. Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), this tool delivers hardness and heat resistance suited for high-speed cutting in ferrous and hardened materials. It features a 0.02 mm (0.0250 inch) corner radius, a 1/8 inch mill diameter, and a 1/8 inch shank diameter. With 2 flutes and a flared geometry from the Corner Rounding End Mills series, it is engineered for consistent radius generation on part edges. Machinists and toolroom operators working in production or job-shop environments will find it appropriate for finish-pass edge work.
This end mill is suited for applications requiring tight-tolerance corner rounding on metal workpieces, including die and mold work, precision component finishing, and general machining operations where sharp edge removal must meet a defined radius specification. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending tool life between changes. The AlTiN coating supports dry or minimal-lubrication cutting strategies in harder steels, stainless, and similar alloys. It fits standard 1/8 inch collets or end mill holders commonly found on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tool for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 1/8 inch collets or end mill holders requiring a 0.02 mm radius corner rounding end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tooling change procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and at rest before inserting or removing the tool. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized 1/8 inch collet or end mill holder and torque the drawbar or collet nut according to the machine manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for damage before each use, and never exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material.
