The HARVEY TOOL 45262 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in tight-tolerance machining applications. It features a 0.0620-inch mill diameter, a 0.0100-inch corner radius, and a 2-flute spiral design that supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining surface quality. With a bright, uncoated finish, this end mill is ready to run as-delivered on compatible ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. It is center-cutting and single-ended, allowing plunge entry where required. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in tool and die, medical, and aerospace environments are the primary users.

Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the toolholder bore is clean and free of chips before seating the shank to the specified depth. Do not overtighten set screws beyond the toolholder manufacturer's recommendation. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut, as excessive runout on a miniature-diameter end mill accelerates tool wear and risks breakage.
