The HARVEY TOOL 44932 is a single-flute, solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations. With a 1/2 inch cutter diameter and a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, this tool handles slotting, profiling, and pocketing in a range of materials. This end mill is suited for CNC milling centers and manual mills in job shop, production, and toolroom environments. Installation and tool changes must be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine power locked out per shop safety procedures. Ensure the collet or toolholder bore is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Torque the collet nut to the toolholder specification and verify tool runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the depth of cut beyond the stated 1-1/2 inch length of cut, as engagement beyond the fluted section risks tool deflection and breakage.
