The HARVEY TOOL 44062-C3 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed for edge profiling and radius breaking on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. Built from solid carbide, it delivers rigidity and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. The 1/16 inch corner radius profiles edges cleanly and consistently. Four flutes provide efficient chip evacuation and a smooth surface finish. The AlTiN coating adds thermal protection and extends tool life in harder materials, making this cutter well-suited for production CNC milling operations. Licensed machinists and CNC operators typically run this tool on vertical machining centers and multi-axis mills.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments where consistent edge radii are required across high volumes of parts. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, reducing per-part tooling cost in production runs. With a 1/2 inch shank diameter and 3 inch overall length, it fits standard ER and side-lock collet chucks commonly used in CNC machining centers. Typical applications include aerospace, mold and die, and general precision component manufacturing where sharp corners must be broken to a defined radius.
Designed for use in CNC vertical machining centers and multi-axis mills accepting a 1/2 inch shank. Fits standard ER collets, Weldon side-lock holders, and hydraulic chucks sized for 1/2 inch tooling. Part of the Harvey Tool Corner Rounding End Mills 2 and 4 Flute Unflared series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Power down and lock out the spindle before mounting or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth per the holder manufacturer before torquing the retention mechanism. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use and replace the tool if chipping or flank wear is evident.
