The HARVEY TOOL 40447-C6 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-precision milling of medium alloy steels, hard materials, stainless steel, and cast iron. With a 3/64 inch (0.0470 inch decimal) cutting diameter and a 35-degree helix angle, this single-end mill delivers both roughing and finishing capability in one tool. The tapered reach neck geometry makes it well suited for deep-cavity mold work where clearance is critical. An AlTiN Nano PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection during aggressive cuts in ferrous and hard workpiece materials. This tool is handled by machinists and toolmakers working on CNC machining centers and milling machines.
