The HARVEY TOOL 37193-C3 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) via a PVD process, this tool handles steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. It features a 0.093 inch cutting diameter, a 0.005 inch corner radius, and a 3-flute right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle. The extended reach design with stub flute geometry makes it well-suited for deep-pocket and long-reach milling scenarios where rigidity and surface finish both matter. It is centercutting and supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single pass.
This end mill is built for CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and high-speed milling operations in shop environments where miniature tooling is required. It fits applications in aerospace, medical device, mold and die, and general precision machining. The 0.139 inch length of cut and 0.5 inch reach length position this tool for slotting, profiling, and contouring in confined workspaces. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites. The single-end design is standard for this tool class, and it mounts in standard straight-bore toolholders with a 0.125 inch shank bore.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders accepting a 0.125 inch shank diameter. Suitable for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills configured for miniature end mill tooling. Primary workpiece material compatibility includes steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with CNC toolholding systems. Verify toolholder bore cleanliness and runout before seating the shank to maintain diameter tolerance of plus or minus 0.0005 inches. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the controller is in a safe state before changing tooling. Do not exceed the rated reach length when extending tool projection beyond the toolholder nose, as additional overhang increases deflection risk on miniature-diameter tools.
