The HARVEY TOOL 37130-C3 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision metal removal in tight-tolerance applications. Built from solid carbide with an AlTiN PVD coating, this single-end tool features a 0.03 inch cutting diameter, a 0.005 inch corner radius, and three right-hand helical flutes at a 30-degree helix angle. The extended-reach design pairs a 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank with a 2.5 inch overall length, allowing access to deep features while maintaining rigidity. It is center-cutting and suited for both roughing and finishing passes. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindle setups where small-diameter, long-reach access is required. The stub flute geometry and extended neck make it well suited for milling deep slots, pockets, and contoured profiles in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance for dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. The 0.045 inch length of cut noted in the raw title reflects stub flute engagement; the full length of cut capacity per the specification data is 1.0 inch.

Installation requires a precision toolholder appropriate for 1/8 inch shank diameters; runout should be minimized to protect the 0.03 inch cutting diameter. Verify spindle speed and feed rate parameters against the manufacturer cutting data for the specific workpiece material before engaging the cut. Secure the shank to the full recommended grip depth and inspect the tool for chips or coating damage before each use. This tool should only be installed and operated by qualified machinists familiar with small-diameter carbide tooling.
