The HARVEY TOOL 36225 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.25 inch mill diameter, a 0.0250 inch corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes, this single-end tool balances edge strength with chip evacuation across a range of materials. The 0.75 inch length of cut and 2.5 inch overall length make it a compact, stub-standard geometry tool suited for close-tolerance work. The bright uncoated finish keeps the tool accessible for general-purpose use without the need for coating compatibility concerns. Licensed machinists and CNC operators typically select this tool for finish and roughing passes on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals.
This end mill fits into the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series. It is used in precision CNC machining centers and manual mills where corner radius geometry is required to blend walls and floors without stress risers. Typical applications include mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and general metalworking on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, wood, and composite materials. The centercutting design allows plunge entry where needed, and the straight cylindrical shank seats in standard toolholders.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders. Compatible with CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.25 inch shank diameter. Rated for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, wood, and composite workpiece materials.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the toolholder. Seat the shank fully into the collet or chuck and torque the retention mechanism to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, particularly when working to tight diameter tolerances.
