The HARVEY TOOL 36205 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 1/4 inch mill diameter, a 0.0050 inch corner radius, and a 4-flute spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle. The single-end, centercutting design allows for both plunge and peripheral cutting operations. Built from solid carbide and left uncoated in a bright finish, this tool delivers consistent performance on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and composites. It is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills by machinists performing roughing and finishing operations where edge integrity and tight tolerances are required.
This end mill fits standard 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank toolholders and is part of the HARVEY TOOL Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series. Its 3/4 inch length of cut and 2-1/2 inch overall length make it well suited for shallow-to-moderate depth passes in close-tolerance applications. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, wood, and composite materials. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle configurations.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 inch bore straight-cylindrical toolholders. Compatible with CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped for right-hand cutting tools. Suitable for workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, wood, and composite.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or changing tooling. Confirm toolholder bore and runout tolerance before securing the shank. Always verify depth-of-cut and feed rate parameters against material specifications and machine capability before initiating a cut.
