The HARVEY TOOL 34635-C3 is a miniature solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.9 mm (0.0350 inch) cutting diameter and a 3-flute geometry, this tool is built for fine detail work in hardened and difficult-to-machine materials. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while reducing cutting forces. This end mill is suited for machinists, toolmakers, and precision CNC operators working in aerospace, medical, mold, and die applications.
This end mill is intended for single-end use with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. The extended reach design accommodates applications where the cutting zone is recessed or requires clearance from workpiece features. It fits standard 1/8 inch collet systems and is compatible with CNC machining centers and manual milling setups where sub-millimeter precision is required. The center-cutting capability allows for direct plunge entry into the workpiece material.
Designed to fit standard 1/8 inch collet systems on CNC machining centers and precision milling machines capable of running sub-millimeter tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank fully within the collet to the recommended minimum insertion depth before tightening. Verify spindle runout with a test indicator before commencing cuts, as excessive runout will cause rapid tool failure at this diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped before tool changes.
