The HARVEY TOOL 34625 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.025 inch cutting diameter and a 0.038 inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-milling operations where accuracy and rigidity are critical. The three-flute geometry balances chip evacuation with cutting stability, making it well suited for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduces deflection. The bright, uncoated finish leaves the carbide substrate exposed for applications where coating buildup or thermal sensitivity is a concern. It is a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool with a 0.125 inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches. This end mill is installed by a machinist or toolroom technician into a compatible collet or end mill holder sized for a 0.125 inch shank. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the recommended insertion depth for the holder type in use and torque the collet nut per the holder manufacturer specification. At 0.025 inch diameter, this tool is highly susceptible to breakage from runout, misalignment, or excessive feed rates — verify holder runout before use.
