The HARVEY TOOL 33710-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 5/32 inch (0.1562 inch) cutting diameter and a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, this tool delivers consistent material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 4-flute, single-end geometry with a 30-degree right-hand helix supports efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-heat environments. This end mill is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry without pre-drilling. It is sized for use in manual mills and CNC machining centers requiring a compact, high-performance cutting tool.
This end mill is suited for precision slot milling, profiling, and finishing passes in ferrous metals, stainless steel, and hard materials where heat resistance is a priority. The AlTiN coating makes it well-suited for dry or minimal-lubrication cutting environments. The 3/16 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and tool holders found on both benchtop and production CNC equipment. Typical users include machinists, tool-and-die shops, and precision fabrication operations running tight-tolerance work.
Designed for use in standard collet chucks and end mill holders accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter, compatible with CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills configured for right-hand rotation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or tool holder to the minimum recommended grip depth and torque the retention hardware per the machine or toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm feed and speed parameters are appropriate for the workpiece material and coating type.
