The HARVEY TOOL 33693 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in tight-tolerance machining applications. Built in a miniature long-flute configuration, this single-end tool features a 3/32 inch (0.093 inch) cutting diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut, giving machinists extended reach capability in a compact geometry. The 30-degree right-hand helix promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting design allows plunge entry into the workpiece. Three flutes balance chip clearance with surface finish performance. The bright, uncoated carbide substrate is suitable for a broad range of workpiece materials without the thermal sensitivity introduced by many coatings.
This end mill targets small-part and detail machining in production and prototype environments. It is well suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and other non-ferrous alloys, and CFRP composite materials. The long-flute geometry is particularly useful when machining deep slots, narrow pockets, or features that require the cutter to reach below surrounding part geometry. This tool is typically run on CNC machining centers or high-speed spindle setups where runout and tool holding are well controlled.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature square end mill suitable for CNC machining applications involving steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and CFRP materials as stated by the manufacturer.
This tool is installed by machinists into a collet or end mill holder rated for a 1/8 inch shank diameter. Power down the spindle and confirm zero RPM before changing tooling. Verify tool runout with a dial indicator after seating to protect the small-diameter carbide from premature breakage. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and cutting tool manufacturer feed and speed recommendations for the specific workpiece material being cut.
