The HARVEY TOOL 33662-C4 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 3-flute geometry with a 30-degree helix angle. The amorphous diamond finish reduces friction and extends tool life in demanding cutting applications. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 1/8 inch shank diameter, this end mill fits standard collet chucks and tool holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional spindle use.
This end mill is suited for finish milling, slotting, and profiling operations in small-feature work. Its 1/16 inch diameter makes it appropriate for fine-detail cuts in mold making, die work, and precision part machining at the micro and miniature scale. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, aerospace, medical device, and general precision machining environments where small-diameter tooling and tight tolerances are routine.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collet chucks and ER-style tool holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting right-hand rotation tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully and evenly in the collet before torquing to the tool holder specification. Small-diameter carbide end mills are brittle — avoid side-loading beyond rated parameters and verify runout before beginning the cut.
