The HARVEY TOOL 33630-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.03-inch cutting diameter and a 3-flute geometry, this tool delivers clean, accurate cuts in tight-tolerance work where rigidity and chip evacuation both matter. The AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-heat environments by providing oxidation resistance and reduced friction at the cutting edge. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 0.125-inch shank, this miniature end mill is built for CNC machining centers, manual mills, and high-speed spindle work where small-diameter precision tooling is required. Installed by machinists and tool room operators across production and prototype shops.
This end mill suits applications in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and high-temperature alloys where fine-feature milling is required. The single-end configuration, right-hand cutting direction, and right-hand flute direction make it a standard choice for conventional CNC milling operations. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip flow and reduced cutting forces, making it well suited for slotting, profiling, and finishing passes on small-scale features. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry into the workpiece without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard-stock solid carbide square end mill for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter collet or tool holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Use a properly sized collet or tool holder matched to the 0.125-inch shank to prevent runout and tool pullout. At this diameter, minimize overhang and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
