The HARVEY TOOL 33316 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 0.25 inch cutting diameter and a 0.375 inch length of cut, this single-end tool removes material cleanly in slots, pockets, and profiling cuts. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. Three flutes provide a balance between chip clearance and surface finish quality. This tool is uncoated and suited for use in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production facilities, and toolroom environments.
The HARVEY TOOL 33316 is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills where precise square-shoulder cuts are required. Its 4 inch overall length and 1.25 inch reach length allow access to moderate-depth features without excessive tool deflection. The 0.25 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders common in both vertical and horizontal machining setups. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration makes it compatible with conventional spindle rotation on standard CNC equipment. Centercutting capability allows the tool to plunge directly into material when required by the toolpath.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill for use in standard 0.25 inch end mill holders and ER collet chucks on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tool holding and runout specifications. Secure the shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and verify runout before cutting. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or adjusting tooling. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine guarding requirements during all tooling changes.
