The HARVEY TOOL 33270 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.07-inch cutting diameter and a 0.105-inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-feature applications. The 30-degree helix angle and 3-flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a clean cut. It runs right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction and is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry. Uncoated carbide construction suits applications where coating is not required or where regrinding is anticipated. Installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for small-feature milling, slotting, and profiling in precision machining environments. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard 1/8-inch collets and tool holders common to benchtop CNC routers, micro-machining centers, and small vertical mills. The 2.5-inch overall length provides adequate reach for most shallow-pocket and surface-profile operations. The 0.375-inch reach length allows clearance past the shank before engagement. Typical applications include mold and die work, prototype machining, and detail work on small components where tight dimensional control is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8-inch shank collet or tool holder.
This end mill is installed by machinists in collet-style or set-screw tool holders rated for 1/8-inch shank tooling. Confirm holder runout and collet condition before seating the tool, as runout is critical at this diameter. Power down and lock out the spindle before tool changes. Avoid side loads that exceed the rated depth of cut for this diameter, as small-diameter carbide end mills are susceptible to breakage under lateral deflection.
