The HARVEY TOOL 33235-C4 is a square end mill engineered for precision micro-machining applications. Built from solid carbide and coated with an amorphous diamond finish, this tool delivers exceptional hardness and wear resistance in demanding cutting conditions. The mill features a 0.9 mm (0.0350 inch) cutting diameter with a 0.053-inch length of cut and a 30-degree helix angle across three right-hand flutes. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 1/8-inch shank diameter, it is sized for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. The centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling specialists.
This end mill is suited for precision milling operations where small feature detail and tight tolerances are required. The amorphous diamond coating makes it appropriate for non-ferrous materials, composites, graphite, and abrasive substrates. The extended reach design, with a 3/16-inch reach length, provides access to recessed or deep-pocket features without interference from the shank. Single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than reversed when the cutting edge is worn. Typical applications include mold and die work, medical component machining, and micro-feature part production on vertical or horizontal machining centers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use cutting tool for CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter collet or toolholder.
This tool is installed and set up by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Before changing tooling, ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is placed in a safe, locked-out state per shop safety procedures. Use a properly sized collet or precision toolholder to minimize runout, which is critical at sub-1 mm cutting diameters. Do not exceed manufacturer-recommended speeds and feeds for the coating type and workpiece material.
