The HARVEY TOOL 33231 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in tight geometries and deep-reach applications. Built from micrograin carbide, this tool delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed when cutting in demanding materials at small diameters. The 1/32 inch (0.0310 inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 3/64 inch (0.0470 inch) length of cut and a 30-degree helix angle to produce clean, accurate results in slots, pockets, and profiling operations. Three flutes provide a balance of chip evacuation and cutting edge strength at this scale. The 1/8 inch shank diameter and 2-1/2 inch overall length make it compatible with standard collet systems used in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for precision machining applications where small-diameter tooling is required, such as micro-mold work, detailed profiling, and fine slotting in metals, plastics, and composites. The extended reach configuration, with a 5/32 inch reach length, allows access to features that standard-length tools cannot reach.
