The HARVEY TOOL 33210-C3 is a miniature solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.0100-inch cutting diameter and a 0.015-inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-scale slot milling, profiling, and finishing work in hard and abrasive materials. The AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. A 30-degree helix angle and three-flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a strong cutting edge. This end mill is single-end, right-hand cutting, and centercutting, making it suitable for plunge entry as well as lateral passes.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments including aerospace, medical device, electronics, and die-mold work where extremely small features must be held to tight tolerances. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and precision tool holders common in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. The 2.5-inch overall length provides reach without excessive deflection for most micro-milling setups. Machinists and toolroom professionals working with hardened steels, stainless alloys, titanium, and similar materials will find this geometry and coating combination well suited to their applications.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles equipped with 0.125-inch (1/8-inch) collet chucks or precision tool holders accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC toolroom professional. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the tool changer is disabled before changing tooling. Use a precision collet or shrink-fit holder sized for the 0.125-inch shank to minimize runout, which is critical at this cutting diameter. At micro diameters, even small amounts of runout or improper clamping force can cause premature tool breakage.
