The HARVEY TOOL 32415-C3 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. It carries a 1/8 inch mill diameter with a 1/2 inch length of cut and a 0.015 inch corner radius, producing a controlled edge break that extends tool life and reduces chipping on finish passes. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection for dry or high-speed cutting. With four flutes and a right-hand spiral, this single-end tool handles both roughing and finishing operations in one setup. It is suited for CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles where tight tolerances are required.
This end mill fits into the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series, covering stub and standard reach configurations. Its 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank fits standard toolholders and collet chucks. Typical applications include contouring, profiling, and pocket milling on small features in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The center-cutting geometry allows direct plunge entry. This tool is used by machinists and CNC programmers working in production shops, tool rooms, and prototype environments where small-diameter precision work is routine.
Compatible with standard toolholders and collet chucks accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Designed for use on CNC milling machines and machining centers. Rated for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite workpiece materials per Harvey Tool material application codes P, M, K, N, and O.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or locked-out state before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder and verify runout with a dial indicator before production cuts. Do not exceed the manufacturer-rated depth of cut or chip load for the workpiece material to avoid tool deflection or breakage at this diameter.
