The HARVEY TOOL 27295-C3 is a solid carbide, single-end corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding materials. With a 0.0950-inch cutting diameter, 0.0100-inch corner radius, and a 4-flute spiral geometry, it delivers both roughing and finishing capability in a miniature form factor. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting design allows plunge entries. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in toolholders on vertical or horizontal machining centers.
This end mill fits within the HARVEY TOOL Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series. It is suited for precision work on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The 0.1250-inch straight cylindrical shank accepts standard collet toolholders. Its small diameter and short length of cut make it particularly well-matched to detailed contouring, pocket milling, and edge-breaking operations in tight geometries on both prototype and production runs.
Designed for use with standard collet-style toolholders accepting a 0.1250-inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites as specified in the HARVEY TOOL Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is secured to the correct runout specification for the toolholder before operation. Do not exceed the rated depth of cut for miniature-diameter carbide end mills, as these tools are susceptible to breakage under excessive lateral load. Verify shank seating depth in the collet meets toolholder manufacturer requirements before engaging the workpiece.
