The HARVEY TOOL 26370-C3 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-precision milling in demanding material applications. Built with 4 right-hand spiral flutes and a 0.005 inch corner radius, it reduces stress concentrations at part edges and extends tool life on tight-tolerance features. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating adds heat resistance and surface hardness, making it effective in both dry and semi-dry cutting conditions. At 0.07 inches in diameter with a 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank and 1.5 inches overall length, this stub-geometry end mill is suited for machinists running miniature features on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles.
This end mill is rated for roughing and finishing operations across a broad range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites. The stub-and-standard series geometry keeps deflection low at small diameters, which is critical when milling slots, pockets, or radii in precision components. It is center-cutting, allowing direct plunge entry. Typical applications include aerospace components, medical device parts, mold and die work, and any CNC operation requiring accurate corner radius control at miniature scales. It mounts directly into compatible toolholders with a straight-bore collet or end mill holder.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders and collet systems accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter. Suitable for CNC machining centers running the miniature end mill series for stub and standard length applications.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in an e-stop or locked-out state. Confirm collet bore and runout before tightening to avoid deflection at this diameter. At 0.07 inches in diameter, excessive tightening torque or collet contamination can cause premature tool failure. Verify feed, speed, and depth-of-cut parameters against the manufacturer tooling data for the specific workpiece material before beginning a cut.
