The HARVEY TOOL 26355-C3 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight tolerances and small-feature work. Built from solid carbide with an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating, it handles steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites. The tool measures 0.055 inches (1.4 mm) in cutting diameter with a 0.005-inch corner radius, four flutes, and a right-hand spiral flute with right-hand cutting direction. It is centercutting, making it suitable for both roughing and finishing operations. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians install this end mill in standard toolholders.
This end mill belongs to the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series. It is optimized for high-precision work in small-diameter applications where corner radius geometry is required to reduce stress concentration at part features. Typical applications include die and mold work, aerospace components, and medical device machining in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and composite workpiece materials. The 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank fits standard toolholders used on CNC machining centers and mills.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and composite workpiece materials per the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the toolholder and torque retention hardware per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout after installation, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a tool of this diameter.
