The HARVEY TOOL 26347-C3 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. Built from solid carbide with an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating, this single-end tool delivers both toughness and heat resistance in demanding cutting environments. It measures 0.047 inches in diameter with a 0.005 inch corner radius, a 1.5 inch overall length, and a 0.141 inch length of cut. The four-flute, right-hand helical design supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool, reducing changeover time on the floor.
This end mill is engineered for small-feature machining on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. It fits standard toolholders via its 0.125 inch straight cylindrical shank. Typical applications include die and mold work, medical components, aerospace detail parts, and any precision machining operation where a small corner radius is required for strength and stress relief at milled transitions. It is used in CNC machining centers and high-speed milling setups.
Designed for use with standard CNC toolholders accepting a 0.125 inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and composite per manufacturer designation codes P, M, K, N, and O.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank in a collet or end mill holder with adequate clamping length before running; insufficient engagement on a miniature shank can cause runout and premature tool breakage. Verify spindle runout is within acceptable limits before use, as tool diameter tolerances on miniature end mills are tightly held at plus or minus 0.0005 inches. Always confirm feed and speed parameters are appropriate for the workpiece material and depth of cut before beginning a pass.
