The HARVEY TOOL 26339-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built to a 1 mm (0.0390 inch) mill diameter with a 0.005-inch corner radius, this stub-length single-end tool carries four helical flutes and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating for extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. With a 1.5-inch overall length and a 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank, it mounts directly into standard toolholders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. It is center-cutting and capable of both roughing and finishing operations in a single setup.
This end mill is suited for tight-tolerance slot milling, profiling, and pocket work on small-scale features in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The stub standard length geometry offers added rigidity when working in deep pockets or where tool deflection is a concern. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC spindle rotation. It is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals running production or prototype work where a miniature-diameter end mill with a controlled corner radius is required.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles running right-hand cutting operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite workpiece materials.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Secure the shank to the full recommended engagement depth in the collet or chuck to minimize runout at this miniature diameter. At 1 mm cutting diameter, even small amounts of runout or side load can cause tool breakage, so verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting.
