The HARVEY TOOL 26320-C3 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.020-inch (0.5 mm) mill diameter and a 0.005-inch corner radius, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work where edge integrity matters. The four-flute, right-hand spiral configuration supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, extending tool life when cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machinists and CNC operators working in tool rooms, job shops, and production environments rely on tools like this for micro-scale contouring and profile milling.
This end mill is suited for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The stub and standard series designation indicates a compact geometry optimized for rigidity in miniature milling applications, making it appropriate for high-speed CNC machining centers and micro-machining setups where runout control and tool stiffness are critical. It is a single-end, center-cutting tool, enabling plunge entry as well as conventional side milling. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard 1/8-inch toolholders and collet systems commonly found on CNC mills and micro-machining spindles.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch bore toolholders and collet systems on CNC machining centers capable of accommodating miniature end mill tooling. Compatible with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite workpiece materials per the P, M, K, N, and O material classifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the controller is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch straight shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention hardware per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout at the tool tip with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, as excessive runout will accelerate wear and compromise corner radius accuracy on a tool at this diameter.
