The HARVEY TOOL 19193-C3 is a solid carbide double angle milling cutter designed for precision slot milling, chamfering, and angular groove cutting in metalworking applications. It features a 90-degree included angle with a 3/32-inch cutter diameter and a 3/64-inch cutting width, making it well suited for tight, narrow-profile cuts. The cutter carries an AlTiN coating that improves hardness and thermal resistance at the cutting edge. With a 1/8-inch shank diameter and a 1-1/2-inch overall length, this tool is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where precision and repeatability are required. Two cutting teeth deliver clean angular profiles in a single pass.
This cutter is used in precision machining environments for forming symmetrical angular grooves, dovetail prep work, and chamfer profiles on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its compact geometry suits applications in aerospace, medical device, and general job-shop machining where tight tolerances and small-diameter toolpaths are common. The 3/64-inch neck diameter and 9/64-inch neck length allow access to recessed or narrow-channel features that larger cutters cannot reach. Machinists running high-speed steel or carbide-compatible toolholders on CNC mills are the primary users of this tool.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch collet or toolholder systems on CNC machining centers and manual mills capable of running solid carbide end mill tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop-standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the shank is fully seated and secured in the collet or toolholder before spindle engagement. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against the tool manufacturer recommendations for the workpiece material and coating type before running the first cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use, as solid carbide tooling is brittle and should not be run if edge damage is present.
