The HARVEY TOOL 15332-2 is a solid carbide drill mill designed for combined drilling and milling operations in a single tool. With a 0.5000-inch diameter and a 90-degree point angle, it transitions cleanly between plunge cutting and side milling without a tool change. The 1-inch length of cut and bright, uncoated finish make it well suited for applications where a hard coating could interfere with tolerance or surface finish requirements. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling specialists use this tool on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces where multi-function toolpaths reduce cycle time.
This drill mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where spot drilling, through-hole drilling, chamfering, and end milling must be performed in sequence. The 1/2-inch shank diameter fits standard collet systems and tool holders used in vertical and horizontal machining centers. Its solid carbide construction provides the rigidity needed for precise entry angles and consistent sidewall finish in aluminum, brass, mild steel, and similar materials.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit drill mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills using standard 1/2-inch collet or end mill holders.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an energy-isolated state before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder and torque the retention nut to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run to confirm proper seating.
