The HARVEY TOOL 14616 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 0.250-inch cutter diameter with a 0.750-inch length of cut and a 2.500-inch overall length. With 2 flutes and a right-hand cutting direction, this end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and light contouring in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bright uncoated finish makes it straightforward to inspect for wear. A 0-degree helix angle provides a more aggressive, direct cutting action appropriate for specific material and setup requirements.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and similar machine tool setups. It is a single-end tool, meaning the cutting geometry is on one end only. The 0.1875-inch shank diameter is sized for use with collets or end mill holders common in light-duty machining setups. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians working on close-tolerance components will find this geometry useful for straight-wall pocket and slot work where a square corner finish is required.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing end mills from any holder or collet. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended engagement depth in the collet or holder before tightening. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the material being cut.
