The HARVEY TOOL 14364-A is a cobalt drill mill designed to perform both drilling and end milling operations in a single tool. With a 1-inch mill diameter, a 90-degree point angle, and 4 flutes, this tool handles center drilling, spotting, chamfering, and peripheral milling without a tool change. The uncoated cobalt construction provides good heat resistance and toughness, making it suitable for cutting ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. A 3/4-inch shank diameter and 4-1/8-inch overall length give it solid rigidity in standard milling chucks and collet holders.
This drill mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where machinists need to combine drilling and milling operations on a single setup. The 1-7/8-inch length of cut accommodates moderate-depth pocketing and slotting. The 90-degree point geometry is well suited for spotting, countersinking, and producing chamfers on through-holes and blind features. It is typically installed by machining professionals working in job shops, toolrooms, and production environments cutting steel, stainless, and alloy materials.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit drill mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/4-inch shank diameter toolholder.
This tool is installed by machinists in collet chucks, end mill holders, or hydraulic toolholders rated for 3/4-inch shanks. Ensure the spindle and toolholder are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Verify spindle speed and feed rates against material-specific cutting data before operation. Follow all applicable machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures when changing tools.
