The HARVEY TOOL 14093-C4 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP). The tool measures 0.0930 inches in cutting diameter with a 0.139-inch length of cut, a 0.125-inch shank diameter, and a 1.5-inch overall length. It features 4 flutes with a 30-degree helix angle and a spiral flute type. The amorphous diamond PVD coating provides surface hardness and lubricity suited to demanding machining applications. This is a single-end, centercutting design with right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation, intended for use by machinists and tooling professionals in CNC milling operations.
This miniature end mill is part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Square - Stub and Standard series. It is well suited for tight-tolerance slot milling, contouring, and profiling in both conventional and climb milling setups. The small diameter and stub geometry make it appropriate for intricate detail work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials as well as composite applications. It is commonly used in precision machining shops, aerospace component manufacturing, and prototype development environments where small feature sizes are required.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill in the fractional inch system, suited for use in standard CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter collet or toolholder. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and CFRP as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC tooling and rotating cutting tools. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in a safe state before installing or removing the end mill from the toolholder. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder that matches the 0.125-inch shank diameter to ensure concentricity and minimize runout. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety standards when setting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut.
