The HARVEY TOOL 14080-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight tolerances and small-feature applications. With a 5/64 inch (0.0800 inch) cutting diameter and a 1/8 inch shank diameter, this tool is built for fine detail work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-heat cutting conditions. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation, while the 4-flute geometry improves surface finish and feed rates. Overall length is 1.5 inches with a length of cut of 0.12 inches. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling professionals are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter, high-precision work is required. Typical applications include mold work, die machining, aerospace component production, and medical device manufacturing. The centercutting design allows plunge entry into the workpiece. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional CNC setups. The length-of-cut range of 0.10 to 0.20 inches supports light to moderate depth-of-cut passes in hard and soft metals alike.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch straight shank collet or toolholder.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or unloading the tool. Secure the 1/8 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and verify runout before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the manufacturer-rated depth of cut for the flute length of this tool.
