The HARVEY TOOL 14075-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.075-inch cutting diameter, 4-flute geometry, and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating, this end mill delivers high cutting performance and thermal resistance in hardened steels, stainless steels, and other ferrous alloys. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Centercutting capability allows the tool to plunge directly into a workpiece. Installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling specialists, this tool is suited for tight-tolerance finishing and slotting operations.
This end mill fits standard 1/8-inch diameter collets and tool holders. The 0.112-inch length of cut is appropriate for shallow slot milling, profiling, and contour work in precision components. With a 1.5-inch overall length, the 14075-C3 is well suited to close-clearance setups on vertical machining centers and CNC mills. The AlTiN coating extends tool life at elevated cutting speeds, making it a practical choice for high-production runs or abrasive materials where uncoated carbide would wear prematurely.
Designed for use with 1/8-inch diameter collets and tool holders on CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills. Compatible with standard ER and other collet systems accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet. Verify collet runout is within acceptable tolerance before operation, as excessive runout will accelerate tool wear and reduce dimensional accuracy. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for speeds and feeds appropriate to the workpiece material and coating type.
