The HARVEY TOOL 13693 is a miniature solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in tight-tolerance machining applications. With a 3/32 inch (0.093 inch) cutting diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 1/8 inch shank diameter, this tool is built for long-reach work where standard-length end mills cannot access the feature. The 2-1/2 inch overall length and 1-1/4 inch reach length allow operators to machine deep slots, pockets, and walls while maintaining rigidity. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the three-flute geometry balances material removal rate with surface finish across a range of workpiece materials. The bright uncoated finish makes it suitable for use with or without coolant in compatible setups.
This end mill is well suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and CFRP materials. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunging into the workpiece, expanding its utility for slot milling and pocketing operations. Its long-reach, long-flute configuration makes it a practical choice for aerospace, medical device, mold and die, and general precision machining work where feature depth exceeds the capability of standard-reach tooling. It is a single-end tool with right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction, compatible with standard CNC machining centers and manual mills running appropriate spindle speeds and feed rates for the workpiece material.

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician using a collet or end mill holder rated for the 1/8 inch shank diameter. Confirm runout at the tool holder before engaging the cut, as small-diameter carbide tooling is sensitive to misalignment and can fracture under lateral loading. Power down and lock out the spindle before loading or removing the tool. Follow the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the specific workpiece material to avoid premature wear or breakage.
