The HARVEY TOOL 12510-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining environments. This single-end tool features a 5/32-inch (0.1562 inch) cutting diameter, a 1-inch length of cut, and a 3/16-inch shank diameter with a 3-inch overall length. The 4-flute geometry combined with a 30-degree helix spiral flute configuration promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and abrasive workpiece materials. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool in milling centers, VMCs, and manual knee mills for slotting, profiling, and finishing operations.
This end mill is suited for both conventional and climb milling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and CFRP composite materials. The long-flute geometry makes it appropriate for applications requiring deeper axial engagement relative to the tool diameter. Its centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation is standard for conventional spindle rotation. This tool is well matched to small-feature work, tight-tolerance slots, and miniature component machining where a 5/32-inch cutting diameter is required.
Designed for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and CFRP materials as specified by the manufacturer. Fits any milling machine or CNC machining center with a 3/16-inch collet, end mill holder, or compatible tool holder accepting a 0.1875-inch shank diameter.
This tool is installed by a machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before loading or changing tooling. Secure the 3/16-inch shank fully and evenly in a properly sized collet or end mill holder to minimize runout. Verify feed rate, depth of cut, and spindle speed against established speeds-and-feeds data for the specific workpiece material before commencing a cut.
