Made from flexible, durable plastic, the excluder features precisely sized openings that worker bees can pass through freely while physically blocking the larger queen. This keeps brood confined to the lower brood box and reserves the honey super for honey production only. The QEP-102 is placed between the top brood box and the medium honey super in a Langstroth-style hive configuration. Installation Notes
