The HARVEST LANE HONEY FEEDIH-102 is an in-hive frame feeder designed to deliver liquid feed directly inside the beehive without exposing it to outside colonies. It holds up to one-half gallon of water or sugar water and installs by replacing one standard frame in the bottom brood box. Cap ladders are included to give bees a surface to grip, reducing the risk of drowning in the liquid. Beekeepers and apiarists install this feeder as a low-disturbance method for supplemental feeding during periods when natural forage is scarce.

This feeder is suited for residential and small-scale commercial beekeeping operations. It is most commonly used during nectar dearths, late winter or early spring when stores run low, and when supporting newly installed packages or nucleus colonies that have not yet built sufficient reserves. Because the feed stays inside the hive, it does not attract foragers from neighboring colonies, reducing the risk of robbing behavior that is common with external or open feeders.

Installation Notes
