The HART & COOLEY HC-4RPX18 is a four inch by eighteen inch round pipe used as a Type B gas vent. This pipe and fitting have undergone testing and are listed by Underwriters Laboratories to meet Standard 441. It is suitable for use with gas-fired appliances certified for Type B gas vent applications. The B-Vent is designed for neutral or negative draft applications and is intended for vertical installations. It can be adapted for horizontal applications with a correctly positioned draft-inducing fan.
