Hanwha Vision HV-GS970M/10PS-R-10 8-port Poe Switch

Product Description

The HANWHA VISION - US HV-GS970M/10PS-R-10 is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch delivering a total PoE budget of 124 watts. It provides network connectivity and inline power distribution for IP cameras, access control devices, and other PoE-capable endpoints on a single managed network segment. The switch is sold as a single unit and is suited for installation in security, surveillance, and building automation infrastructure projects. Licensed network or low-voltage technicians typically handle deployment in rack or cabinet environments.

This switch is designed for use in commercial and light-industrial IP surveillance and security network installations. Each of the eight Gigabit Ethernet ports supports both data and PoE power delivery, eliminating the need for separate power adapters at each endpoint. It is well-suited for structured cabling deployments where IP cameras or access control panels must be powered and networked from a single central distribution point.

Key Features

• 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE support across all ports
• 124-watt total PoE power budget for powering connected devices
• Gigabit throughput on all ports for high-bandwidth IP video streams
• Single-unit form factor suitable for rack or cabinet mounting
• Supports IP cameras, access control readers, and other IEEE PoE-compatible devices

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style network switch for use with PoE-compatible IP surveillance and security devices in commercial and residential structured cabling installations.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or network technician in accordance with applicable local codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Power down or disconnect the switch from mains before making any wiring changes to the cabinet or patch panel connections. Ensure the total PoE draw of connected devices does not exceed the 124-watt budget before commissioning. Mount in a ventilated enclosure to prevent thermal buildup during continuous operation.
