The HAMPTON PRODUCTS-WRIGHT VF333 is an aluminum push button latch designed for out-swinging wood or metal doors. The free-hanging handle design allows the latch to operate without a fixed mounting point for the handle itself, making it well suited to gates, utility doors, and panel enclosures where a clean, unobstructed swing is required. Installation requires three 5/16-inch holes with a 1-3/4-inch hole spacing pattern. The latch fits doors ranging from 3/4 inch to 1-1/4 inch in thickness. Two sizes of strike shims are included to fine-tune latching engagement at the point of install.

This latch is intended for out-swinging doors in residential and light commercial applications, including wood-framed and hollow-metal door assemblies. The no-lockout feature is a practical safety design that prevents accidental lock-out during normal use. For applications requiring keyed security, the VF333 can be converted to a key-locking set using the V3 cylinder.
