The HAM-LET 3101964 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join compression tubing to female NPT (FNPT) threaded ports in fluid and gas distribution systems. It provides a leak-resistant mechanical seal by compressing a ferrule against the tubing wall, eliminating the need for solder or adhesive. The body is machined from brass, offering solid corrosion resistance for most plumbing, instrumentation, and light industrial applications. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers for this type of fitting.
This connector is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant or sensing line connections, and instrumentation tubing runs where a compression-to-female-pipe-thread transition is required. The 3/8 inch thread size and compression-by-FNPT end configuration make it a practical choice for connecting copper or compatible soft-metal tubing to threaded valve bodies, manifolds, or panel fittings. It ships as a single unit with a minimum order quantity of one.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use compression-to-FNPT connector for plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation tubing systems requiring a 3/8 inch FNPT port connection. Cross-references to Swagelok part number B-400-7-6.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC or instrumentation technician. Shut off system pressure and relieve any residual line pressure before installing or removing compression fittings. Use an appropriately sized wrench on the fitting body - do not overtighten, as brass threads and ferrules can be damaged. Verify tubing is cut square and deburred before seating it into the compression end to ensure a proper seal.
