The HAM-LET 3000427 is a compression tube connector designed to create a leak-tight mechanical joint between tubing and a male NPT threaded port. Built from 316 stainless steel and manufactured to ASTM A269 standards, this fitting delivers reliable corrosion resistance in demanding fluid and gas handling systems. The 3/8-inch thread size connects a compression end to a male pipe thread (MNPT) end, making it a common choice for instrumentation, process piping, and similar service applications. At 1.57 inches in overall length, the compact form fits in tight plumbing configurations without additional fittings. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this connector where a tubing run must terminate at a threaded port on a valve, manifold, or instrument body.
This connector suits residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant sensing lines, compressed gas distribution, and light industrial process systems where stainless steel corrosion resistance and tubing-to-pipe-thread transitions are required. The compression-style end eliminates the need for soldering or flaring, allowing field installation with standard hand tools. It is appropriate for systems operating within the rated temperature range and wherever ASTM A269 tubing stock is specified.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for use with compatible 3/8-inch OD tubing systems terminating at a male NPT threaded port in plumbing, HVAC, instrumentation, and light industrial applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Compression fittings require proper tubing squareness and cleanliness at the cut end for a leak-free seal; inspect tubing for burrs and deburr as needed before assembly. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
