The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 99524 is a 1-1/4 inch insulated metallic grounding bushing designed to protect wire and cable at the end of threaded conduit or a conduit connector. The bushing provides a smooth, well-rounded bearing surface that prevents insulation damage where conductors exit conduit terminations, as required by the NEC. Constructed from die cast zinc with a thermoplastic liner rated to 105 degrees C, it includes a tin-plated, open-type lay-in lug that is dual rated for copper and aluminum conductors. Licensed electricians install this fitting during conduit termination work on metallic raceway systems. This pack contains 10 bushings.

This grounding bushing is used in residential and commercial electrical installations wherever 1-1/4 inch threaded metallic conduit terminates at a panel, junction box, or conduit connector. The lay-in lug design simplifies attachment of the grounding conductor without threading the wire through a closed lug. Installation Notes
