The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 99105 is a 1/2 inch electrical metallic tubing (EMT) set screw connector designed for secure, code-compliant conduit terminations. Built from die cast zinc, this connector features an insulated throat that protects wire insulation from abrasion at the point of entry. The concrete tight construction makes it suitable for installations where moisture or concrete encasement is a factor. Each package includes 20 connectors, making it a practical quantity for panel rough-ins, junction box connections, and conduit stub-ups on commercial and residential electrical work.
This connector is used wherever 1/2 inch EMT conduit terminates at an enclosure, panel, or junction box. The set screw fastening method provides a reliable mechanical and electrical bond without requiring specialized tooling. The insulated throat is particularly useful in applications where conductors must be protected from sharp metal edges at the connector entry point. Electricians working on commercial tenant build-outs, residential panel work, or light industrial conduit runs will find this a standard go-to fitting for 1/2 inch EMT terminations.
Designed as a standard OEM-style fitting for use with 1/2 inch EMT conduit in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits and verify with a meter before working on any enclosure or panel. Tighten the set screw firmly using the appropriate hex key or flat-blade screwdriver to ensure a proper mechanical connection. Do not overtighten, as this may crack the die cast zinc body.
