The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 96111 is a one-hole steel conduit strap designed to secure 1/2-inch rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) to structural surfaces. Each strap is zinc plated for corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and standard commercial installations. This pack includes 4 straps, allowing electricians to cover multiple attachment points in a single purchase. The low-profile, single-hole mounting design accepts a standard fastener through its center hole, pulling the conduit flush against the mounting surface for a clean, code-compliant run.
These straps are used in residential and light commercial electrical installations wherever 1/2-inch rigid or IMC conduit is routed along walls, ceilings, joists, or masonry. They are a standard consumable for licensed electricians installing branch circuit wiring, service entrance conduit runs, or exposed conduit in industrial and utility spaces. The zinc-plated finish performs well in dry and damp locations as defined by NEC installation requirements.
Designed for use with 1/2-inch rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) as stated by the manufacturer.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 344 (Rigid Metal Conduit) or Article 342 (Intermediate Metal Conduit). De-energize all circuits in the work area before mounting conduit straps near existing wiring. Use appropriate fasteners for the substrate — wood screws for framing, concrete anchors for masonry. Space conduit supports at intervals that comply with the applicable NEC table for the conduit type and trade size being installed.
