The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 93591 is a high-strength bronze ground rod clamp designed for bonding grounding conductors to ground rods in electrical grounding systems. Built from solid bronze, this clamp delivers corrosion resistance and mechanical durability in demanding field conditions. It accommodates 10 AWG solid conductors and 2 AWG stranded conductors, making it compatible with a range of common grounding electrode conductor sizes. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this clamp as part of grounding electrode systems in residential and light commercial applications.
The 93591 is suited for use with 1/2 inch ground rods in standard grounding electrode installations. Its direct burial rating allows it to be installed below grade without additional protection, simplifying installation in typical perimeter grounding configurations. The clamp arrives bagged and is packaged in quantities of 30 units per package, making it practical for contractors stocking job-site materials.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit clamp for 1/2 inch ground rods used in residential and light commercial grounding electrode systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 250 requirements for grounding electrode conductors and connections. De-energize all circuits and verify the system is safe before making grounding connections. Ensure the ground rod is driven to the required depth before attaching the clamp, and seat the conductor fully before tightening the clamp fastener. For direct burial applications, no additional enclosure is required, but the connection point should be free of debris before backfilling.
